The Church of the Sunset Margarita is a nondenominational organization of sailors, aviators, beach bums and other free spirits. The church allows you to believe pretty much whatever you want while enjoying the fellowship of like minded souls. Click on the margarita to learn more.
The Lost Clipper
Click on the image of the clipper to learn more about the mystery of the Hawaii Clipper that went missing in July 1938 and may have been the object of the first airline hijacking in history. It may also have been the first act of military aggression by elements of the Japanese navy towards the US, two years before Pearl Harbor. Efforts are underway to locate the 15 missing crew and passengers on the Truk Atoll.
Lynx
The Lynx is a replica of an American privateer by the same name which operated in the war of 1812. I was fortunate enough to spend a week aboard her in 2014 sailing from Tampa to Key West via the Dry Tortugas.
